FBI Reportedly Thwarts Violent Plot Against UFC White House Event

It was reported that the FBI had foiled a plan terrorist attack at the White House and surrounding areas during Sunday’s UFC event on President Donald Trump‘s 80th birthday on the South Lawn.

The multi-phase, planned attack was discovered by the FBI on June 10, days before the White House witnessed a historic battle reportedly attended by government dignitaries and VIPs.

Here’s a look at the FBI’s terrorist claims regarding the UFC event at the White House

Formal reports say the attacks involved explosive-laden drones that targeted buildings near the site, forcing an evacuation to an area where crowds would be attacked by a “second wave” sniper attack. The alleged attacks would ultimately target the gates of the White House.

Impressed by his team’s quick action, FBI Director Kash Patel said, “While the result represented the best investigative work, it was also nothing special for this law enforcement team,” adding, “We are built to identify, respond to, and bring to justice those who threaten the lives of American citizens – especially during large gatherings like the historic UFC (Freedom) 250 fight. That’s exactly what we did here.”

The FBI has reportedly arrested one suspect from Cincinnati, while five others are in custody. Investigators have identified a total of 23 people involved in the plot.

“Interestingly, the president seemed oblivious to the threat and its disruption. I’ve never heard of it,” Trump said. “The attack I saw was the fighters. … It was as good a fight as I’ve ever seen, the best. That last fight was brutal, and the last two – all the fights were good. It was all good, it was a great night, it was very different for the White House.”

The historic UFC event saw Justin Gaethje score a mesmerizing knockout against Ilia Topuria to unify the UFC lightweight titles.
