After Reality Blurbs exclusive report from a tipster Frank Catania was no longer filming The Real Housewives of New Jersey, we reached out to Frank to talk more about why he wasn’t filming.
Specifically, we asked about rumors about this Teresa Giudice had something to do with him no longer recording the show, as well as recent rumors on social media that his ex-wife, Dorothea Cataniaand her fiancé, Paul Connellhad something to do with it.
“Did I hear those rumors?” Frank said Teresa had something to do with it. “Yes, I did. But you know, did I ever hear anything concrete? No.”
“One thing I can say if something was said to production: I am 100% sure it was not Dolores and Paulie, and I want this to be cleared up,” Frank said explicitly. “Dolores and Paulie have always indicated that they wanted that Brittany Mattessich and I took part in family scenes.
Frank reiterated that he knows it’s “certainly not” Dolores and Paulie who didn’t want him filming.
“To be clear, Bravo also didn’t tell me they didn’t want me filming,” he explains. “There have just been scenes that I would normally be included in, but I wasn’t included.”
Frank figured out that in the world of reality TV, “anything can happen.”
“What if someone doesn’t want me to film? I have no idea,” he added. ‘I get along well with everyone Luis (Ruelas) and I have had problems in the past? 100%. But I’m a peacemaker and we’ve moved on, so I’d be disappointed if I ever found out anything was said.”
Frank concluded by saying that he was filming RHONJ “Because I enjoyed it and I enjoyed hanging out with the guys.”
“I also loved when it was a good scene for my family… That’s the part I loved,” he explained. “There’s just no animosity and no drama. But what if it’s all gone tomorrow? I’m fine with that.”
In Reality Blurb’s initial report, the source claimed that Teresa “didn’t want” Frank “to be part of the show”
“Teresa is still angry about what Frank did or tried to do to Luis and therefore did not want him to be a part of season 15,” she added. “And she got what she asked for.”
