The context of the miracle

The facts date back to 18 years ago, when the father underwent a very delicate surgery and upon waking he said to his son the precise words that Lazy had said, almost as if it were a prayer in the night: «”Sorry, how did you know? How did you hear that?”. “Padre Pio told me. Then he told me that in three and a half years I will die in his hospital in San Giovanni Rotondo, he wants me there.” Then my father actually left after three years in San Giovanni Rotondo.”

Another episode concerns his apparently inexplicable reaction after a fall: «We were on a farm in Brazil with my daughter, I slipped on a huge stone. But inside me I see Padre Pio arriving from above with the white cloak, I told him: don’t leave me here, let me die in my house, the time to say it I opened my eyes. Everyone got scared: this is like a zombie.” Finally, the experience of a friend: «One day she calls me and says: “My son is dying. You who have to do with that saint who you say is so good, pray for my son”… Padre Pio said: “Seven days and he will get better. Don’t worry”… She called me after seven days: “He is healed”. I just told her: “Take a quick trip to San Giovanni Rotondo, get on your knees, pray to him and thank him”.
