The singer, born Oliver Tree Nickel, was identified as one of six victims involved in Sunday’s helicopter crash in Recreio dos Bandeirantes, in the southwestern zone of Rio de Janeiro, reports CNN.
The other victims include passengers Lucas Vignale, Gaspar Prim (aka Argentinian YouTuber Gaspi), Lucas Brito Chaves and pilots Alexandre Souza and Charles Marsillac.
According to the newspaper, two helicopters collided early Sunday morning while flying over an electric vehicle lot. At least twenty cars were set on fire by the crash after hitting the crash site.
Local civilian police told CNN that the case is still ongoing and that a forensic examination of the incident scene has been requested.
Tree was on the flight with Vignale, Prim, Chaves and Souza. Marsillac flew solo in the other helicopter.
In addition to the police, the local fire brigade, CET (Traffic Engineering Company), Comlurb and teams from 31st BPM (Recreio dos Bandeirantes) worked to isolate the area.
