Mika is pleased by this confession, but it raises questions about their relationship. “It’s so sweet, and I really appreciate it,” she replied.
“And I love that you feel that way. Obviously, it feels good to be told that someone cares about you and that they really like you that way. But I feel like it rubs off on me. Because it’s too early.”
Although she left the chat smiling, the 21-year-old later cried while talking about her close friend Jasmine Muller.
Failing to hold back her tears, she admitted: “It really overwhelms me, like (because) I don’t know.”
Mika continued, “Everyone else is very happy in their couple. And I can say, I can tell just by looking at them that they have that feeling. I don’t feel like I have that with him.”
Viewers at home quickly rallied in support of the student, with one commenting on social media: “Omg mica is crying 🙁 #loveislanduk #loveisland.”
Someone else chimed in: “People’s princess Mika still in tears 10 minutes into episode (sad face emoji).”
Another viewer said: “Bless Mika, she’s a pure soul,” while a fourth wrote: “Mika is crying because she doesn’t want to hurt Samraj… Sorry kids, you’ll be totally fine #loveislanduk.”
Others have predicted that Mika felt a stronger connection with Simba during their kiss, forcing her to reconsider her current partnership.
Mika has now ended her romantic relationship with Samraj, but it remains to be seen who she will get into a relationship with next.
