James Barker’s cause of death: ‘Love Island USA’ creator dies at 40 during filming

Today we have sad news from the world of reality TV.

“The unimaginable loss of James has been deeply felt throughout the world, not only love island usa production, but across ITV and Peacock,” the networks said in a joint statement (via ). People).

“He was a beloved and extremely valued member of our collective family whose kindness, talent and dedication left an indelible mark on all of us and all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.”

“We come to Fiji for the magic,” he wrote in a June 3 Instagram post, praising the series’ cast and crew.

The news of Barker’s death brought an outpouring of grief across the Love Island community, particularly as the producer had become an integral part of the franchise’s recent success.

Season 8 premiered on June 2 with Ariana Madix returning as host, and production continues in Fiji following Barker’s passing.
