Pop icon Taylor Swift really made the “Toy story 5″ premiere to remember! The ‘Style’ singer is known for the song of the same name, but also for her fashion sense! She’s turned heads in each of her ‘eras’ with countless red carpet looks, but Swifties agree this one might be a new favorite! And it all comes in the lead-up to her highly anticipated wedding to NFL star Travis Kelce!
While attending the premiere of “Toy Story 5,” the “Wood” singer stood on stage in a glittering gold dress and gave a short speech introducing the film. She revealed that this film was her favorite of all the ‘Toy Story’ films so far and thanked Disney and Pixar for all the work they put into it.
She described the toy’s latest outing as “insanely beautiful” and a “masterpiece” that we are “so happy” to see. Her short speech was greeted with applause and cheered at home by fans.
“Every other movie premiere in 2026 is done. You don’t beat a Taylor Swift speech on Toy Story 5. Just go home,” one fan joked, while another follower noted, “The way she basically said Toy Story 5 ended Toy Story 3? LEMME BUY A TICKET.”
Swift performed “I Knew It, I Knew You” live
It looks like Swift is still enjoying her showgirl era, as she certainly put on a show for fans who attended the premiere! She sat down at her piano and sang her new hit from the movie soundtrack, “I Knew It, I Knew You.”
In the comments, one fan wrote, “Toy Story 5 better have a scene where Woody dances to shake it off or what’s the point?” Another follower wrote, “I can’t believe she performed that song live! What an amazing moment for both Taylor and Toy Story fans!”
A third fan also loved her outfit, writing: “Her singing is unreal, even after a year off stage. That sparkling yellow look against the pink sunset background was also pure perfection.”
Taylor Swift also performed with Randy Newman
Swift truly gave her fans a double dose of nostalgia when she performed “You’ve Got A Friend In Me” at the “Toy Story 5” premiere. This time she gave up the piano to Newman, whose iconic vocals took fans back to the ’90s.
“If you told my eight year old this would happen I would cry,” one fan commented. “Taylor Swift and Randy Newman are a couple I never knew I needed,” another follower admitted. “This is such a magical crossover. Taylor continues to find ways to reconnect with our childhoods,” a third fan chimed in.
Swift had an outfit change!
Earlier in the evening, Swift wore a different dress while attending the premiere of ‘Toy Story 5’ in Los Angeles. Fans who look closely can see that she wore a strapless dress that gave everyone Bo Peep vibes.
“The Toy Story 5 marketing team just found a generational combination,” one fan commented. “Somewhere in the theater a grown man got out of nostalgia and accidentally walked into a Swiftie convention,” another follower joked. “Buzz Lightyear wasn’t prepared for this level of star power,” a third fan teased.
“Toy Story 5” will officially hit U.S. theaters on June 19, 2026!
