Hollywood is mourning this week after the actress died this weekend at the age of 77.
Schedeen was best known for her role as Kate Tanner in the 1980s sitcom ALF. The sitcom spanned four seasons and aired from 1986 to 1990.
Her death was made public by a report about her official Facebook page which read: “It is with the deepest hearts that we share that Annie passed away peacefully. She leaves behind an extraordinary legacy of creative energy, clever humor, joy in her family, adoration for small dogs, burning hatred for Trump, passion for thrifting and love of a good story.”
“We were bereft without her. We loved her so much, as did everyone who met her,” the statement continued. “She was a force. And it’s unthinkable to think about life without her in it. But as she said, ‘I’m with you always.’ And she’s right. The memories, artwork, belly laughs, handmade jewelry, oil paintings, sculptures, costumes and the entire joie de vivre live on. Raise a margarita in her honor.”

Before he got a leading role ALFSchedeen had roles in a popular TV show Three company, The incredible Hulk, The Six Million Dollar Man, Simon & Simon and more.
From her experience ALFSchedeen told Holiday Heroes, a charity that helps underprivileged families: “I kept reading scripts. I almost got involved but backed out at the last minute. Then I read ALF. I said, ‘This is funny. It makes me laugh.’ I met the people involved. I met ALF and became more and more convinced that I wanted to do it. That little alien made me laugh.”
Following the conclusion of ALFSchedeen mainly acted on the big screen, including roles in films such as Praying mantises And Heavenly prisoners. She returned to television in 2001, appearing in three episodes of Emie judge.
A cause of death has not been made public.
