Big Brother 27 Winner Ashley Hollis wants Rachel Reilly back for Season 28, along with a group of other legends, but she doesn’t want to see newer houseguests return just yet. Rumors have been swirling about it Big Brother 28 may have returning players when it premieres on July 9, so there has been a lot of speculation about who they might be.
Rachel returned to Big Brother 27 in 2025 after placing 9th i Big Brother 12 and win Big Brother 13. IN Big Brother 27she failed to make herself a target for the new players, instead befriending many of them and outwitting her enemies. Rachel was on her way to possibly winning the game for the second time, but an unexpected event took her out in an unconventional way.
During the White Locust twist, Rachel lost the Hamster Wheel contest, which meant she was automatically eliminated from the game, instead of being kicked out in the traditional way. Despite much outcry from fans about the unfairness of this twist, Rachel left the house and became the first member of the jury.
Later in Big Brother 27Ashley made it to the Final 3 with Vince Panaro and Morgan Pope. She won the last two parts of the Head of Household (HOH) competition and brought Vince to the end with her. Ashley won the game by a vote of 6 to 1, with only Morgan voting for Vince. It was a come-by-behind win, as Ashley had only won one other competition all season: Power of Veto in Week 1. But her social game made her the judges’ favorite. Now Ashley is considering who to throw in Big Brother 28 if previous houseguests will actually return.

In an X post, Ashley expressed his wish list of returning houseguests to Big Brother 28which includes some of the most legendary players of all time. She wrote, “I hope the bb28 cast this year includes more personality like the goats: Rachel, Danielle, Janelle, Brittany, Dan, Dr. Will. We need people who are not only good at comps but can actually bring personality and spice to the table. I’d love OG’s vs half a new cast (four emoji) #bb28.”
Rachel Reilly, Danielle Reyes, Janelle Pierzina, Britney Haynes, Dan Gheesling and Dr. Will Kirby is some of the most iconic houseguests to ever set foot in Big brother house.

Ashley wants to see her guy Big Brother 27 houseguest Rachel has another chance after she was eliminated in the White Locus twist. She wrote, “And throw @RachelEReilly back on bc I feel she deserves redemption from the way she went out on bb27 (crying emoji).” Rachel’s elimination was highly controversial because many fans felt it was completely unfair for her to leave without the chance to save herself through the Power of Veto or talk her way out of it through her social game. However, others believed that the Hamster Wheel game rules were very clear and she volunteered to enter the contest, which she lost.
Ashley Hollis doesn’t want any recent houseguests on Big Brother 28
On the question of which house guests from Big Brother 23 up to and including 27 she would like to see return for Big Brother 28Ashley shared that she doesn’t want to see any of them back yet, but made a list of possible returnees for the future. She wrote, “On bb28, I personally don’t want to see any of the recent houseguests return. But down the line bb27: Vince (Panaro), Jimmy (Heagerty), Morgan (Pope), Rachel (Reilly), Mickey (Lee), bb26: Brooklyn (Rivera), Tucker (Des Lauriers), Angela (Murray (B Hann24) & Joseph (B Hann24) (Chaddha)/Tiffany(Mitchell)/DX (Derek Xiao) Bb25, I’ve only seen one few episodes).
Big Brother 27 houseguest Mickey Lee died at the age of 35 on December 25, 2025, following a series of cardiac arrests following complications from the flu. Ashley most likely wanted to pay tribute to Mickey by including her on her list of houseguests she would like to see return to the game.
Ashley has some fun ideas for Big Brother 28. It would be interesting to see her choice of OG Big brother legends return to play against new houseguests. These icons would immediately become targets for the new entrants, as they have done in the past when this idea was used, but the addition of the BB Blockbuster, which prevents the backdoor, could bring a whole new level of gameplay to the concept. Ashley didn’t include herself on her list of returnees, but it would be exciting to see her come back to play again as well. Whatever happens, fans should “expect the unexpected” from Big Brother 28.
Big Brother 28 will premiere on Thursday 9 July 2026 at 20 ET on CBS with a special 90-minute episode.
