Gia Giudice revealed when she is worried Real Housewives of New Jersey ruin her mother Teresa Giudice and aunt Melissa Gorga‘s peace treaty – and presented during filming season 15. The star also talked about how she changed her own approach to filming season 2 Next generation NYC.
Years after season 14 ended, Teresa, her brother Joe Gorga and his wife Melissa finally reconciled. Bravo soon announced that RHONJ would return for season 15. For years, the show focused on the “war” between Teresa and Melissa’s respective families. The new season recently started filming and will be available to watch several newcomers.
On Reality nightcapGia was asked if she’s concerned about the show fueling the drama between Teresa and Melissa.
“Honestly, I feel like time heals all wounds,” she said. “And also as you get older, I think you really realize how special and sensitive time is and that you shouldn’t take it for granted.”
“I truly believe with everything in me that this will never happen again as they fight,” she continued. “And I don’t think they would ever get to that point again. We’re all in such a good place. … It’s just not going to happen.”
In an interview with We weeklyGia teased the new season of RHONJ.
“It was so much fun,” the 25-year-old said. “I filmed a little bit last week, and it’s amazing. I mean, just the energy in the room and the feel of everything is so different, especially now that everyone’s good and we’re not fighting anymore. … There’s just such a different energy and vibe to it, which I think makes it a lot more fun. It’s really beautiful to watch. … It’s like a breath of fresh air.”
Gia went on to share that she changed her own approach to filming Season 2 of Next Gen NYC.
“(I filmed with) just a more open mind,” she explained. “I was really excited to delve deeper into my life, so I think I approached it a little more cautiously than I did in Season 1.”
“I think you find that, honestly, Gia comes to the terms that it’s OK to leave (her mother’s house), and that my family will be fine without me,” said the star, who recently moved into her own apartment. “I think that was a big pill for me to swallow. It wasn’t that I couldn’t move, I could, and I had the resources to do so. In Italian culture, there’s never really a rush to leave your parents’ house, so that was for starters, and then two, I just felt so comfortable being there for my family. but… it’s pretty amazing.”
