SaVon Slater Calls Out Elliott Wilson Over Debt –

SaVon Slater is calling out Elliott Wilson over an alleged $20,000 debt that has been hanging over his head for months.

In a podcast clip, Slater, a producer for The Joe Budden Podcastalleged that Wilson never paid him in full for production work on a project also involving Roc Nation. Slater said he wanted to be clear that he is not blaming Roc Nation.

“I had no agreement with Roc Nation,” Slater said. “The payment is said to have come from Elliott Wilson.”

Slater said he had “all the receipts,” including texts, a contract and an agreement reviewed by lawyers. He claimed that the issue became awkward as the season progressed, and he began to worry about whether Wilson had the money. The producer said his respect for Wilson’s career made the situation more difficult before describing Wilson as “someone in the room that we respect.”

“I just wanted to get whole and I wanted to keep pushing it,” Slater continued.

Slater then claimed that he offered Wilson a six- to eight-month payment plan for the alleged $20,000, only for Wilson to counter with $500 per month. Slater said he hasn’t heard from him since.

“I accept the fact that I probably won’t get paid,” Slater added. “It’s a learning lesson.”
