“ALF” star Anne Schedeen died in June 2026 at the age of 77. The beloved actor’s family announced that she had joined the long list of celebs who died in 2026 with an opinion. “She leaves an extraordinary legacy of creative energy, whip-smart humor, joy in her family, adoration of small dogs, burning hatred of Trump, passion for second-hand thrifts and love of a good story,” they noted in the notice to her. We loved her so much, as did everyone who met her.” But Schedeen’s adoring fans loved her too, at least if their reactions to one of her last photos are any indication.
Fans left a series of poignant, emotional messages during Schedeen’s death announcement, but they also rallied during one of the last Facebook snapshots of the star to pay their respects as well. As you can see above, the photo showed her posing in front of a natural background wearing a somber smile, with her salt and pepper hair pulled back from her face. While it’s unknown when the photo was taken, it was uploaded in June 2026, and it clearly struck a chord with the “ALF” star’s fans.
One fan, for example, reflected on watching the sitcom hit while navigating a challenging health crisis. “Even though I needed to spend many months in the hospital due to childhood cancer, watching ‘ALF’ was so important,” they wrote. “Thank you for giving me strength during this hardest time of my life.
