“Madison Square Garden for a Knicks game doesn’t operate like any other stadium — even for the Rangers,” says Jackowitz. “You go to a Rangers game, everyone is wearing Rangers jerseys. Everyone is in full spirits, the whole stadium is in red and white.”

Meanwhile: “At the Knicks, they’re not necessarily all wearing jerseys, right? They’re wearing real fashion and clothing. They’re sitting courtside and their hair is cut, their bags are coordinated, their shoes, their jewelry and everything that goes with it.”
