Jack Osbourne is defending his choice to take part UFC fight at the White House over the weekend, saying that some of the critical comments he received were “completely crazy and just like bullshit?”
The former reality star shared Video On his YouTube channel he discussed the reaction he received and shared several examples of social media comments, including comments such as “very disappointed” and “it’s a little devastating, not gonna lie”.
He explained, “I went to a sporting event. That’s all.” “I did not go and stake my claim for political office.
“I wasn’t going there to support any politician or any kind of, you know, foreign affairs issue. Nothing. I literally went to the White House to watch the UFC.”
Osbourne explained that she has been interested in combat sports throughout her life, including taking up taekwondo at age 6, studying Muay Thai in Thailand in her late teens and early 20s, and jiu-jitsu in her 30s.
Osbourne said, “I’ve also competed in UFC and Pride fights in the early 2000s. It’s something that’s been a part of my life since I can remember.”
He said that when he was invited UFC President and CEO Dana White”Of course I will go. Anyone who gets an invitation there must have gone.”
“I’m sorry, there’s no one I can think of that would have been like, ‘No, I’m not going on that because I don’t approve of the Orange Man’ or whatever the f—.”
He called the reaction “ridiculous”, insisting that it was “not a political incident – or not in my view. It was the reason for the fight in the White House. Who gives a—?”
The 40-year-old said he told his wife at the event that it would be great if there were more sporting events at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, and pointed out that some former presidents had held events on the White House lawn.
The “Terror Night” host hit out at fans who said his father, the late Ozzy Osbourne, would disapprove of his appearance.
“You didn’t know my father. You didn’t know where he stood with things,” Osbourne said. “Yeah, he definitely wrote a song called ‘War Pigs.’ An anti-war song. He wasn’t anti-UFC. He wasn’t anti-going to an event at the White House. He was anti-war.”

He added, “So, deal with it, and I’m sorry you weren’t invited.”
