Justin Trudeau and Katy Perry packed on a sweet PDA in new picnic photos. According to TMZ, the couple spread out a red gingham blanket and enjoyed lunch in the balmy California weather. In one of the photos, Perry snuggled up to Trudeau and kissed him. In another photo, the couple cuddled in the afternoon sun.
The former Canadian Prime Minister wore a pistachio green T-shirt with chocolate brown shorts. On the other hand, the “Dark Horse” singer wore a form-fitting white T-shirt with matching white pants, complete with a straw bucket hat.
Trudeau and Perry have been publicly linked since July 2025, when they were photographed dining at neighborhood restaurant Le Violon. The same month, Trudeau was spotted at Perry’s concert in Montreal. The pair officially confirmed their relationship in December, making their red carpet debut at the Tribeca Festival for the premiere of the pop star’s concert film.
The ‘Roar’ singer flocked to the event PEOPLE about Trudeau. She said: “I feel like a more grounded person in so many aspects of my life. I’m very much in love. And actually that show happened after I met the love of my life and so that made me feel very grounded because I’m a bit like a rainbow kite.”
Recently, the 54-year-old was criticized by Canadian fans for skipping Canada’s opening game and attending an American game where Perry was performing (via BBC). Trudeau posted X: “Sometimes supportive cronies call. But you know who I root for to win the Cup.” He added the Canadian flag emoji to show his loyalty to the country.
