The upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto VI is dominating all the headlines right now, and that’s without Rockstar saying too much about it since the release of the second trailer and confirmation of the actual release date. That said, we’re still nearly half a year away from the big day, and there’s still plenty to come GTA fun to be in the meantime.
Most of the fun can be enjoyed GTA onlinewith the multiplayer part of GTA V still receives a ton of support from the developer, with thousands of players still logging in every day. If you’re one of them, we just got confirmation that a huge new release is on the way, and it can keep us busy until the next game finally drops.
As first confirmed on the official Rockstar website, the next big heist for GTA online is set to launch in July, and it could be the biggest and most ambitious release yet. Kortz Center Heist takes players to the titular exhibition center where we break in and grab some priceless works of art for our personal collections.
In the run up to the arrival of the new heist, there will be plenty to do for players to prepare for what could be one of the biggest challenges we’ve faced as players. The developer summed up exactly what the next few weeks will look like for players before the heist becomes available:
“In the coming weeks, GTA Online will be bursting with ways to prepare for The Kortz Center Heist. Whether you want to refine your real estate portfolio with a Mansion property to eventually host your own solo Heists or prepare as part of a larger crew, stay tuned for special events with bonus GTA$ rewards, record-breaking discounts, and exclusive opportunities to get collectibles and amazing art programming.”
At the same time, GTA+ members will have access to a whopping $2 million discount on luxury properties from Prix Luxury Real Estate. The only thing you absolutely need to do ahead of time if you’re planning to go on the heist is to add the art studio to your property to house all the works you’re suddenly becoming the guardian of.
It’s certainly a blessing that Rockstar continues to give us plenty to do in the current one GTA while we wait for the next one, especially with the two delays we’ve had so far. We have yet to hear what their plans are GTA online forward, but at least we can go out in a blaze of glory if it goes that way.
