Dorit Kemsley responded to Boy George‘s Instagram post against her after being confronted about the digs on Wednesday.
After the 63-year-old musician slammed her as “disgusting” for sharing a dig at absentee parents on Father’s Day and mentioning her spending habits in a series of posts, the 49-year-old said Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star responded to what Boy George had to say about her, brushing off her shade as nothing more than petty drama and suggesting her post wasn’t about Paul “PK” Kemsley58.
“Who said it was a PK post? Did George say that?” Dorit asked TMZ on June 24. She then explained that “George has a flair for the dramatic.”
Also during her chat with TMZ, Dorit was asked how the two were doing.
“Which two?” she wondered.
On Father’s Day, in a video shared to her Instagram story, Dorit seemed to shadow her separated mans parentage or lack thereof.
“I don’t care who gets offended, I’m saying it anyway,” began her message from a social media account focusing on “life after domestic violence.” “A man who makes the mother of his child struggle is a complete failure. There is nothing respectable about watching the woman raise your child, carrying everything alone with no real support. When she is overwhelmed, stressed and exhausted, your child quietly absorbs the same pressure every single day. A real man does not sit back while his child’s mother breaks down with her child’s responsibilities and still fulfills the role of a man, and still upholds the will of a man. Actions reveal who he really is.”
“Leadership is not control. If she does everything while you do nothing, that is not strength. It is neglect in its clearest form,” it also said.
A short time later, Boy George wrote on his own Instagram Story: “This post on Father’s Day? Totally disgusting!”
He then slammed Dorit’s expenses in an additional post where he told her, “Rome burned while you were buying handbags,” and apparently blamed her for the financial strife she’s currently facing.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 16 is expected to begin filming sometime in the coming months.
