Days of our lives prediction edition covering July Sweeps, which runs from June 25 to July 20, incl. Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) makes a shocking confession about her side job. And we can see Lexie Carver (Renée Jones) succumbs to her symptoms and dies again.
We have predictions for EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), Lexie, Sydney DiMera (Olivia Rose Keegan), Cat, Chad DiMera (Connor Floyd), Roman Brady (Josh Taylor), Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins), Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), for Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman). We will talk about what we could see during the four week sweeps in Salem.
Days of Our Lives: EJ fires Sarah over the DiMera Enterprises Pharmaceuticals Investigation
Our very first prediction, EJ fires Sarah to investigate DiMera Enterprises Pharmaceuticals. Summer spoilers confirm that EJ fires Sarah, explaining that he doesn’t need her help. Not much context, except that Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) and she already have some pill drama going on.
So I guess EJ is using it as some sort of cover because Sarah has both Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) sticks in DiMera Enterprises Pharmaceuticals. And we know EJ doesn’t like people meddling in his business, especially his dirty business.
The suspicious deaths of Clea and Destiny Rowland (Sarah Bartholomew) prompt Sarah and Brady to investigate DiMera Enterprises Pharmaceuticals. And even though Brady doesn’t like it, Xander also helps. And this week, Rita gives EJ a heads up that there could be trouble. And it seems that there was a bad batch of pills that had arsenic in them and they ended up buried near the Horton cabin because it’s very hard to get rid of arsenic because it’s really hard to destroy.
There are only certain ways to do it, and all of those ways are recorded. Then even worse, EJ’s son, Johnny, co-CEO of DiMera Enterprises, has also participated in the deep dive into the tainted pill mystery, and firing Sarah won’t stop the investigation, and may actually make it worse.
Lexie’s final chapter on DOOL
Our second prediction, Lexie dies again. The big summer promo features Lexie at the hospital Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) by her side and Abe rages at EJ to get out. That’s when he comes to see his beloved sister. So I suspect that during the July sweeps we will see Lexie’s health take a serious turn. She can even die during sweeps. Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) ran some tests. He gave Lexie another dose of the miracle serum.
But that might not be enough of a miracle. Actress Nikki Crawford runs on days may be coming to an end. Theo, Abe and Lexie will all be crushed that her new lease is terminated. And EJ is also distraught. I guess Dr. Rolf wants to freeze her again in a cryogenic pod to try another time to bring her back, but I bet Lexie will say no to that.
Days of Our Lives: Sydney’s Return and Peril
Our third prediction, Sydney returns to Salem and her life is in danger. We’ve heard EJ say that Sydney comes to see him when school is out in Italy. So that means that every day now we could have EJ and Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) daughter Sydney, who arrives in Salem to shake up the teen and college scene.
Her brother Johnny will be thrilled to see her, and so will the other DiMeras. Plus, Sydney’s sneaky aunt Christian DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) recently called her out of the blue. And she may have asked Sydney to spy on her father for her. Or Kristen can try to kill her like she did with Johnny. Or Kristen can kidnap her to keep her as leverage against EJ.
Days of Our Lives: The Cat’s Shocking Confession to Chad
Our fourth prediction. Cat tells Chad that she is a spy this summer. In the promo, Cat is confronted by a furious Chad, who is furious that she held him back, but it seems to be about her role as EJ’s assistant and perhaps access to information about his brother’s sins. We know that Cat has been spying on EJ for the ISA for a while, and Andrew Donovan (Colton Little) just told her not to honeypot EJ, but Cat hasn’t listened. And Andrew said bluntly, “Kat better not sleep with EJ.” And we know that Cat is putting her life in danger by playing with EJ like this. We know the DiMera that Cat really wants is Chad.
And when he confronts Cat in Horton Square this summer, while she talks about hiding and hiding things, I suppose she might confide in Chad that she’s an ISA agent, but swears him to secrecy. I actually think he would keep Cat’s promise and Chad might be okay with that Kat examined EJ once she tells Chad some of the heinous things that EJ has been up to, especially when people die, and he covers it up.
Roman’s Heart returns to Marlena on DOOL
Our fifth prediction is shared by Roman Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) and pursues Marlena. We saw Roman Brady furious and furious that Kate lied to him and was setting up his grandson Johnny with the plagiarized book case. And right now, Roman is actually so mad that he and Kate are sleeping in separate beds. And she is angry that Roman is leaning on his ex-wife, Marlena.
You know when John Black (Drake Hogestyn) was alive, Kate was not threatened by Roman and Marlena’s continued friendship. But with John gone for a year now, Kate has to realize that there is a legitimate threat there. Roman and Marlena have one past. They have twins together. And Roman is angry with Kate for betraying her family. So Kate feels vulnerable right now and she could do something else stupid that pushes Roman against Marlena. The other day then Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and Marlena talked, she encouraged Julie to open her heart and said Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) wanted Julie to be happy. And the same could be said for John where Marlena is concerned.

Days of Our Lives: Kelsey’s medical crisis brings Joy and Alex closer
Our sixth prediction, Kelsey’s medical emergency brings Joy and Alex closer. The summer promo has Alex and Joy at the hospital and he’s worried and Alex asks Joy, “Where’s Kelsey?” And then Joy falls into Alex’s arms for comfort. So there is already tension in his marriage because Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) took a pot shot at Joy. Luckily, she missed, and now Joy won’t let Stephanie around Kelsey, which means Alex will spend time with Joy alone so he can see Kelsey.
So it looks like Alex’s daughter will have some sort of health scare, and that crisis could draw Joy and Alex closer together. Close enough to maybe drive Stephanie away. Remember how exes Sarah and Xander bonded when their daughter had pneumonia? It could be something like that. We know that Joy came to Salem hoping to steal Alex from Stephanie and planned to use the baby to make it happen. But if Kelsey is sick, I don’t think Joy’s agenda will be at the forefront of her mind. But it could go that way anyway Days of our lives.
Chanel’s high-risk pregnancy takes a turn for days
Our seventh and final prediction. Chanel and Johnny’s baby arrives prematurely, and Chanel and the baby could both be in danger. The summer promo shows her in a hospital bed and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) checking her out. Chanel is bleeding and scared as Kayla rushes everyone else out of the room.
Chanel just had her port installed to start her chemo while she was pregnant. And both early birth and bleeding are known complications of chemotherapy during pregnancy. So we know for sure that Chanel is going to bleed and she may also go into early labor. Johnny and Chanel knew it from the start this was supposed to be a high-risk pregnancy.
But her breast cancer diagnosis and treatment will increase the risk. Fortunately, Chanel and Johnny have a lot of support and they have suffered Tate Black (Leo Howard) to keep their minds off the unknown. But given a glimpse from the promo, their new little one could be born prematurely, bringing complications. And the bleeding, the chemo, the cancer and the premature birth could all put Chanel at risk for complications.
