Rosie DiMare‘s square footage has been confirmed via tax records amid her ongoing house fight with co-star Kelsey Swanson on The Real Housewives of Rhode Island.
As Rosie, 35, shaded Kelsey, 32, for continuing to jab at her, despite their trucedoubled down on her suggestion that judges had been paid in the Miss Rhode Island pageant she won in 2017 and promoted her “slutty” merchandise after trademarking the term, it was confirmed that her North Kingstown home, which she shares with Rich DiMare35, wasn’t as big as she claimed – just as Kelsey suspected.
According to assessor’s records obtained by Providence Journalbefore the addition, Rosie’s house offers only 1,068 sq. feet residential area. However, that does not include the addition that Rosie discussed on the show.
Seam RHORI fans witnessed, Rosie shared plans to expand her home to 8,000 square feet, regularly saying it was a 5,000-square-foot project. And according to her planning permit application for the addition, it included a 1,900-square-foot first floor and a 900-square-foot second floor, for a total of 2,800 square feet.
That calculation doesn’t exactly add up, but as mentioned, her plans showed stairs leading from the first floor down to a basement, which could bring the total number of square meters up to 4,700.
As for her feud with KelseyRosie expressed exhaustion.
“It’s been a long time of just being discredited, constantly hearing these girls trying to spread rumors about me or my husband,” Rosie shared DECIDES last month. “It’s like nothing I do is good enough. Everything I do there’s a crazy reaction.”
As for her decision to show up at her home with a bullhorn and further press the square footage argument, Rosie didn’t understand her motive.
“I don’t know why she thought this was a moment to joke or go back to stabbing me,” Rosie said. “If we were really going to build a friendship, wouldn’t you come and be nice to me while I literally set this up so you can cut my hair again and I’m going to put it all over the internet? You’d think she’d be excited about that. Instead, it’s like, ‘Oh, I’m going to hit her again.’ I’m so funny.” Maybe don’t be a comedian. Read the room.”
As for her claim that Kelsey’s ex paid off the judges for her Miss Rhode Island win, Rosie stood by it.
“Usually I don’t say things I can’t verify. I like to have my documents lined up,” she said. “I’ve heard all those things. Her family members have said some of these things. I was never going to say them because it’s none of my business. It’s not my problem. I know she thinks I have a big notes app on her that she wants. She’s never been in my phone. But I think when you’re pushed to a certain point, you’re just what I want to say..”
She also teased the upcoming reunion, saying she brought “lots” of receipts.
“I have some things up my sleeve I want to show,” she revealed.
As for her “slutty” trademark, The American Sun confirmed that Rosie filed papers with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for the derogatory term, which signals a promiscuous woman and is used in the Northeast.
“Slutty means or is a term of art in the relevant industry or as used in connection with the goods or services listed in the application as follows: It is a New England term for as**t,” Rosie wrote in her September 2025 application, adding that she intended to create pet clothing, coffee mugs, shirts and provide entertainment services using the term.
In episodes of the show, after slamming Rosie as a “slumpig”, Kelsey wore a party serge that said “Miss Slampig United States” to a trivia night with their co-stars.
Now, after being issued with an allowance notice in April, which meant her application was approved, awaiting a few more steps, Rosie is selling items including tank tops, T-shirts and hoodies.
“It’s time for SLAMMED SUMMER,” Rosie announced on Instagram, encouraging her Instagram followers to check out the link in her bio.
The Real Housewives of Rhode Island season one sent on Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo.
