Waiting for one airport can feel like a fate worse than death. So one Delta Air Lines customer decided to take a different approach – and went extreme viral in the process.
Together, the two videos posted by user Marilyn Delgado (@marilyndelgado) have amassed over 9 million views. Both TikToks filmed a man standing at the microphone in a departure lounge, apparently at the end of his tether. “Hey, Delta employees who aren’t paying attention,” he says. “Please come to 30B. You have a customer waiting. Thank you.”
“Delta, Delta, please come to 30B. You have a customer waiting,” he continues, before adding, “Delta, Delta, is anyone working?”
When Delta makes his own announcement, overlapping with what the customer is saying, he adds, “OK, that’s fine if you want to do the baggage, but what about customer service? Customer service is needed on 30B. Please come and help the customer on 30B.”
“Um, anyone on—shift?” he asks. “Delta, Delta, please help. 30B. Thank you.”
In it second video specifically, a Delta worker wearing a captain’s uniform approaches. The disgruntled customer says, “Literally no one wants to answer. That’s fine. I’ll just keep posting.”
After a short conversation, he continues to broadcast, adding, “The captain just walked away from me and (says) I could go somewhere else. So, is there anyone who wants to help with customer service?”
The video ends with him folding his arms, seemingly displeased with the whole situation.

What did commenters say?
The comments were mostly amused by the situation. “I love when people don’t GAF,” wrote one.
“So those mics work, they just choose to mumble,” remarked another.
“This is the clearest I’ve ever heard that mic,” agreed a third.
While a fourth noted, “Delta is too embarrassed to comment lol.”
“Rumor says he’s still at 30B waiting to be helped,” said a fifth.
And a sixth said: “As a former Delta employee this is HILARIOUS!!!!”
What else is wrong with Delta?
Along with recent accusations of “swindling” customers with his funeral flight prices, another passenger took to TikTok after being shocked by a flight attendant’s proposal in a seat dispute.
In the clip, which has received over 40,000 views, TikToker @thefloraldame says it all started when she noticed a man sitting in the middle. She was assigned the window seat. A flight attendant told her that the man is paralyzed from the waist down and that she will have to “climb over” the man. When @thefloraldame refused, the attendant reportedly found the man’s caregiver and asked: “How immobile is he?” The answer was that he could not move his legs.
The TikToker and caregiver resolved the situation between themselves and decided to switch seats.
