Real Housewives of Miami star Lisa Hochstein and her lawyer, Jayne Weintraubexclusively spoken to Reality Blurb in the wake of news that Lisa was accused of allegedly spying on her ex, Lennywas dropped.
Specifically, Lisa, 43, was accused of spying on Lenny, 60, while the couple was going through their bitter divorce.
TMZ obtained legal documents describing a counselor for Miami-Dade County’s Advocate program, a pretrial diversion program, prosecutors said Lisa had completed all the requirements of the program she entered into on the felony communications charge.
Because of this, the adviser dismissed the case.
Today, the state declared in open court that the charges had been dropped.
Speaking to Reality Blurb after the news broke, Lisa shared, “The Miami Beach Police Department dismissed this case over three years ago. Yet the legal assaults continued at enormous emotional and financial cost to me and ultimately to our children.”
“I’m tired of seeing the legal system used as a weapon in an attempt to hurt me,” she added. “I’m grateful that this chapter is finally behind me and I’m focused on moving forward.”
Jayne, in her exclusive declarationtold Reality Blurb these charges “Should never have been brought.”
“Miami The Beach Police Department declined to file the charges three years ago, when those allegations were first made,” she reiterated. “We’re glad the charges were dismissed and we can move on with our lives.”
A report from April 1st Local 10 news confirmed that court documents were filed against Lisa and her ex, Jody Gliddenon 19 March in respect of events occurring between 12 March and 31 March 2023.
Lisa and Jody “unlawfully and intentionally intercepted,” attempted to intercept, or attempted to cause someone else to intercept “oral statements of Leonard Hochstein and those with whom Leonard Hochstein spoke,” they alleged.
Back in May 2023, Lisa was accused of plant a “listening device” on Lenny’s vehicle, which she denied.
A report from Page six at the time revealed that Lenny had alleged that Lisa had placed “at least one” listening device in his car to “access and monitor his private, non-public communications involving this litigation.”
Although there has been a lot of drama surrounding it RHOM women, the show currently is on break in front of his eighth season.
