Brown said he attempted to “heal” any tension between himself and his co-stars, which include David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Noah Schnapp, Caleb McLaughlin and Winona Ryder.
“I was like, ‘We’re still friends, right? Like, you won’t stop talking to me now?'” she recalled. “I was like, ‘I’m sorry if I ever upset you,’ and just trying to make amends. ‘It’s been 10 years, and I really want to be friends. You’re my siblings.'”
“And then I was on the beach, it was beautiful, and I sat there and cried,” she continued. “It was a very difficult time for me.”
Brown, 22, also discussed the huge impact playing Eleven on “Stranger Things” had on her. The show ran for five seasons from 2016 to 2025.

She explained, “I saw these guys more than just going home and having dinner with their families. Saying goodbye after 10 years was a very emotional thing, and I’m missing Eleven more than anything.”
Brown experienced friction on the “Stranger Things” set, Especially with the harbor – who played her adoptive father, Chief Jim Hopper, on the show – although he has since canceled beef.
Ahead of the show’s season 5 premiere last November, the Daily Mail reported that Brown had filed a complaint about Harbor before filming of the series’ final season began.
Harbor reportedly faced an internal investigation over Brown’s claims, although the outcome of the investigation was unknown. Additionally, Brown reportedly filmed the series finale with a personal representative on set.
Port Confirmed there was tension between him and Brown In an interview with Variety earlier this month. He compared the drama to families who “sometimes get into arguments, disagreements” but always “come back together.”
Harbor also claimed that other people on the show’s set were also “involved” in the situation, but, once he and Brown “got everyone out of the way and talked to each other,” they were “fine.”
“Everyone is so afraid to talk about things these days,” he said. “People are so afraid to be human. It’s unfortunate, because I don’t know how to deal with this weird media world.”
“But it was completely normal,” he added, “and we love each other and always have.”
