NBC has announced its fall schedule, which includes three new series, several returning comedies, dramas and reality shows, and a reshuffle for an iconic franchise. On Wednesday, June 24, NBC revealed the fall premiere dates for all of its shows, including the three new series, The Traitors: New Blood (a spin-off of the popular murder mystery reality TV series The traitorswith a completely unknown cast), Newlyweds (a comedy series starring married couple Téa Leoni and Tim Daly), and Line of Fire (an action thriller series starring Peter Krause and Hope Davis).
Additionally, NBC’s fall schedule includes its returning comedies, Happy’s Place, St. Denis Medical, and The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins, along with its dramas A Chicago and Law and order franchise. Reality tv shows The voice and America’s Got Talent is also on NBC’s fall slate, as well as Sunday Night Football.
The Traitors: New Blood Shakes Up Law & Order’s Schedule
According to Deadlinethe new spin-off of Peacock’s hit reality TV show, The traitorswith the title The Traitors: New Bloodhosted by Alan Cumming, takes over Law and order 8 p.m. time slot on Thursdays beginning September 17, while the classic legal drama moves to the 22.00 for season 26. Law and order: SVU season 28 is broadcast between the two 9 p.m., with both shows in the long-running franchise returning on October 8.
NBC Comedy Fans Will Have a Longer Wait
NBC comedies premiere a little later in the season than some of the network’s other shows. Happy’s Place season 3 and Newlyweds begins Friday, October 23. St. Denis Medical season 3 and The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins season 2 premieres even later on Monday, November 2.
Reality TV show favorites are returning to NBC this fall
NBC’s fall schedule is heavy on reality TV, with The voice season 30 airs three nights a week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) and features returning coaches Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine, as well as newcomers to the show, Queen Latifah and Riley Green. America’s Got Talent season 21 ends on Wednesday, September 23 after its summer run. In addition The Traitors: New Blood will join NBC’s reality television serieswhich premieres on Thursday 17 September.
Two more new NBC scripted series are slated for winter 2027
NBC has two other new scripted series in the works, a reboot of The Rockford Files with David Boreanaz and Sunset PIa workplace comedy created by Brooklyn Nine-Nine writers Dan Goor and Luke Del Tredici, starring Jake Johnson and Jane Levy. The Rockford Files premieres in January 2027, while Sunset PI debuts in February 2027.

NBC’s fall schedule has something for everyone, as comedies, dramas, reality TV and football are on the agenda for the network. It will be exciting to see what’s next for their returning fan-favorite shows, as well as exciting to be introduced to fresh characters and storylines on its newest shows. The Traitors: New Blood will be an exciting addition to the lineup, especially because The traitors has been such a big hit at the Peacock. Fall can’t come soon enough.
