We thought part three of the Summer house reunion would put an end to the madness of the Amanda Batula And WestWilson whirlwind relationship. But it doesn’t really provide any clarity, other than West admitting he’s terrible with women and Amanda claiming she’s never cheated. Kyle.
And while they’ve talked about the seriousness of their relationship (despite West having a girlfriend), Amanda and West have yet to drop the L-bomb. The big question, though, is why would Amanda stay with him after knowing everything she now knows about West?
As the lunch break draws to a close, Ciara promises she will text Meija MorenoWest’s ex (this title is still unclear and varies depending on who you ask). Before everyone gets back to the set, Bailey asks Amanda to sit with her. Bailey explains that she is worried about Amanda and states that she does not trust West at all. Amanda claims “maybe this will be a big mistake” and that “it’s hard to explain yourself when no one will listen.” Really thought about it…
Andy wants to “leave everything on the table” and asks West how things with Amanda got to where they are today. West explains that they went out a lot in February and March, as he shares mutual friends with Amanda. He loved seeing Amanda having fun and it was ‘special’ that he could see her so happy. From then on, they started spending more time together.
Amanda adds that there was a night when West said, “Am I crazy? Is there something here?” However, Amanda and West deny having an affair this summer, although it’s hard to believe considering all the lies they’ve had. Ciara calls the duo calculated.
Mia says that after watching the last few episodes, she felt like something had definitely happened this summer, especially after the Kyle and Karel fight. Amanda ran into West’s arms and cried as he kissed her on the head. Foreign. Another time that same evening, West grabbed Amanda’s breast. Strange, again.
Mia explains that they all thought of Amanda as the victim and West says he wasn’t in love with her at the time. Amanda claims it’s frustrating because she’s not a cheater, but… Lindsay wonders if there was an emotional affair.
West finally admits that he got closer to Amanda this summer, which might explain why when Amanda yelled at West (to supposedly protect Ciara?), it now seems like she was just jealous of West’s flirtatious behavior with another girl.
Kyle wonders about the timeline. It was only two weeks before they parted ways to the Super Bowl and one of West’s close friends, Brianna “Kip,said that West told her he was already dating Amanda. Kyle even got word that West and Amanda go back to 2025. They both promise that there was NO affair, emotional or physical, before the statement.
Mia muses on whether Amanda and West came forward because of the speculation rather than out of fear of damaging her friendship with Ciara. Amanda apologizes to Ciara again.
West admits he was not the clearest with Meija and told her it was no exclusive relationship…but he sent her flowers on Valentine’s Day. It is clear that West’s “style” must be unclear to the women he sees.
Speaking of Meija, Ciara explains that she spoke to this ex, which West apparently said he was NOT exclusive with. Ciara knows that West said “I love you” to Meija and so West can’t even look at Ciara as he works his way through it. Amanda says she would have some of this information and states that nothing was going on between them around Valentine’s Day, so why should she care?

West denies that Meija was his girlfriend, but she thought they had an exclusive relationship… also called a girlfriend. This seems like news to Amanda. Yes explains that he met Meija and he admits that he always thought Meija knew it wasn’t exclusive. Jesse gets upset and says that the “sanctity of the friend group feels violated”, and he is sad about it.
At the après ski party, West stated that he didn’t want to be anyone’s girlfriend… which is interesting considering West explains that since the declaration, he is now in a monogamous relationship with Amanda. Kyle gets very upset when she hears this. West feels pressure to make this relationship work and Andy points out that this is dangerous because West is someone who has serious commitment issues.
Kyle calls it “eye-opening” to learn about West’s other life. Amanda is in a vulnerable place as a result of a ten year relationship and West has now isolated Amanda. Kyle wants to know what the plan is for Amanda and wonders if it’s all worth it now.
West wishes he could have talked to Kyle before things got carried away, but Kyle points out that he feels like a fool for texting West about their sex life while West was out with Amanda-twisted. West understands how everyone can feel like they are the worst, but does nothing to prove otherwise.
West says this was out of his control and regrets not talking to Kyle before it happened. However, it was in his power the entire time. Ciara reminds Amanda that her messages seemed pretty insensitive and Andy tells Amanda that this seems like a betrayal of a friend, especially after Ciara gave her all this advice over the summer about getting out of her relationship.
Amanda finally says that she “did something really stupid” and calls it a confusing and crazy time in her life. Amanda developed feelings for someone she wasn’t supposed to, in a way she didn’t expect. She claims she didn’t eat or sleep because she was worried about their friendship, and it hurts Amanda to know that it hurt Ciara so deeply. But Ciara doesn’t believe it. Ciara believes that West wants to embarrass her and that he is with Amanda to “hurt” Ciara.

“He proposed to you and you said, ‘Yes, let’s do it.’ If you were my friend you would at least say: That would be a big blow to Ciara. “Why would I ever do that to her?” If anything, you’d say, “he wants revenge on her because he hates her so damn much.” But you didn’t even think about that because he wants to embarrass me. He wants to get his last word. This is his last word and I hope it works because he is with you to spite me. So have fun,” Ciara told Amanda.
The last episode It was the hardest for Ciara to watch, especially when Ciara said goodbye to Amanda. Amanda sits stoically, listening as Ciara gets choked up describing this bittersweet moment.

Ciara doesn’t regret telling Amanda to believe in herself and Amanda claims she appreciates Ciara. She knows she ruined an “incredible friendship and it’s something” she will “live with for the rest of her life.” Amanda goes on to say that Ciara doesn’t deserve a friend like her.
Amanda was willing to say “f*ck it,” which made Ciara’s friendship seem disposable. As this unfolds, Jesse is now “a mess” because he feels like he’s losing a brother. He reminds West that things aren’t looking good for him right now. West is the one responsible for the consequences of this friendship and while everyone around him becomes emotional, he remains as cool as possible.
Even Andy can’t resist asking West if he’s taking some beta blockers*. West admits that he is on a beta blocker and although he is not emotional enough for the group, he is also upset.
*Ciara’s recent post points out that beta blockers don’t stop someone from being emotional… so maybe West is just a robot?
Amanda and West admit that they are not in love yet, as West says they don’t use the word Love because it’s still so early, but he’s committed to the relationship. Amanda admits they’ve had conversations about the seriousness of their exclusive relationship. Carl is baffled that West is hooking up with four different girls and her former best friend, so why would Amanda want to stay with him?
It seems like West is already over his relationship with Amanda as he wants to go back to the early days of their time together. He claims to care deeply about the friendships within the group, but no one believes him.
During a break, West tells Andy that he feels terrible and Kyle understands that there will be no solution for today. Amanda catches Kyle to give him a big hug and West can barely bear to watch this hug… in fact, he jumps back on his phone.

Lindsay arrives back on set and claims there isn’t much clarity about this reunion. Lindsay calls West the manipulator and feels like this feels very short-sighted on their part.
Based on his reactions, it’s clear that Kyle still cares about Amanda. Kyle isn’t sure where to go next and admits he never thought Amanda and West would ever amount to anything. Ciara calls this reunion cathartic because she can now move on with her life.
To end on a lighter note, Ciara helped raise over $160,000.00 for a Girl Scout troop and that is something to celebrate. In honor of Ciara’s big fundraiser, they get some Girl Scout cookies, but not before Amanda scolds West for eating them for toast.
This was the most fun season to watch, but certainly not the most fun reunion. And just when you think you’ve seen the end of this crew… there’s a bonus episode next week. Summer House: The Aftermath. Let’s see how Amanda feels about their “relationship” now…
