Alan Jackson Museum announced for downtown Nashville

Alan Jackson just announced a new Nashville museum that promises to take fans through his life and career journey.

Thanks to this unique attraction, older people can also enjoy whiskey during their tour.

  • The Alan Jackson Museum opens on June 25.
  • The full name is Alan Jackson’s Silverbelly Whiskey Distillery and Museum, as the spirit is blended and bottled on site.
  • Jackson will play his on June 27 last performance at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

A Silverbelly Whiskey Distillery will occupy part of the same space at 121 3rd Ave. South in Nashville. That’s the drink Jackson introduced to fans in 2022. It is distilled especially for him, but in quantities that fans can purchase and enjoy.

The whiskey is moved from barrel to bottle on site and anyone aged 21 or older can look around the museum with a glass in hand.

Where is the Alan Jackson Museum?

Alan Jackson’s Museum will be right next to the Johnny Cash museum, in a space previously occupied by Show Pony and before that Johnny Cash Bar and BBQ.

Both locations are across the street Laine Wilson’s Bellbottoms Up.

The Business magazine revealed Jackson’s involvement in March, stating only that the distillery was coming.

While Lower Broadway and the adjacent streets teem with famous bars and restaurants, museums are a tough sell. The Country Music Hall of Fame is within walking distance and the Cash Museum opened in 2013.

Others like a museum in their honor Patsy Clijn and one straightened up Glen Campbell have come and gone.

However, the “Chattahoochee” singer knows the landscape a little better than most. AJ’s Good Time Bar is a short walk away on Broadway and is one of the first artist-approved bars.

Jackson also owns the place, which makes it truly unique in Nashville.

Details about what types of exhibitions will be at the museum, as well as the facility’s opening hours, are not yet available.

Every Country Star Bar in Nashville, Ranked by Reviews

Here’s every country-star bar or restaurant in Nashville, ranked by their Google reviews. Plus highlights (or lowlights) from those reviews, so you can map out your Lower Broadway experience with confidence.

There are certain things true about every country singer’s bar in Nashville: the drinks are expensive, they probably don’t serve draft beer, and you’ll have to wait for service during peak hours. A few bars are pushing it to the limit at every level, while others… well, they might consider changes.

The difference between a 4.1 star company and a 4.8 star company is the way you treat people (and how little water you put in the drinks).
