Bold and the Beautiful: Steffy RUINS Hope Fashion Launch – Logan’s FACE Total Collapse!

Bold and the beautiful explodes like Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) feels so good about her launch at Logan. But there are problems on the way, and that may be to blame Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and a huge legal problem that could stop Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) right in their tracks and kill Hope’s collection for good.

So we’re going to follow some red flags Bold and the beautiful has hinted at what could go wrong that could derail Hope’s big launch, and it could actually destroy Katie’s fashion house when she has nowhere left to turn.

Bold and the Beautiful: Red flags and contractual issues

Okay, let’s talk about red flags. So a big one came up at the end of April when Hope and Steffy were talking about Forrester Creations puts his line on hold. Hope was upset. But Steffy said they had to prioritize Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) new couture collection to try to erase his collection for Logan from everyone’s mind.

And Hope drew back, and she remembered it Steffy that she has one contract with them and that promises were made to her. But she pushed Hope back and then Steffy said the contract allows it Forrester Creations the right to adjust and make business decisions. And she insisted on hoping that this is just good business. But she told Steffy that it felt personal.

Hope’s Rocky Road at FC at B&B

I can’t remember a time over the years where Hope brought up having a contract with them. And yes, it makes sense in business. But not the soap world necessarily. Because Steffy has canceled Hope’s line or put it on hold many times before.

And Steffy has even fired her before and you know Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) made her do that once out of shame. But never once in all that time did Hope mention having a contract with Steffy and Ridge’s company. But I think there’s a reason it comes up since Hope was talking to Steffy before Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). And Katie started pitching Hope to come to Logan and work where she wants.

Then once Liam and Katie convinced her to join them, Hope said Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) that she should take leave. And Hope, Steffy and Ridge have all worn out the term leave. And it sure seemed bizarre for Hope to even take a leave of absence instead of just quitting.

Bold and the Beautiful: Hope’s LoA is Giant Flag

Why wouldn’t she just tell Steffy that she’s sick of all the broken promises and just say, “I quit.” and go out. So that’s the second red flag. It’s all very deliberate. If Hope had resigned, then that would draw a legal line in the sand. Because she would no longer be employed by Steffy and Ridge anymore. But as it is now, There is still a lot of hope an employee at Forrester Creations and she now sneaks around with her brother Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) and enters the back door of Spencer Tower to work on that collection.

And Brad Bell rarely produces surprises as a writer, and he usually drops really heavy-handed hints. If you have seen Bold and the beautiful for a while I’m sure you already know this. And since they killed it that Hope is on leave, it must be important.

Bold and the Beautiful: “The Hope” pun and foreshadowing

By the end of this week, Steffy is demanding response from Katie. It might not be about Hope though. I’m not sure Steffy will find out before then. It feels too fast. Unless, of course, she stops by Brooke’s house to talk to Hope, who should be relaxing and enjoying her leave from Forrester Creations. But she hasn’t been with Brooke much. Hope has been non-stop over Logan collaborates with Deke. Because they are racing to get the launch ready to go.

And the last time Steffy was over there talking to Hope, that’s when another red flag came up that I want to mention. They are the ones who use the word hope as a noun, not a name. It happened again when Katie was talking to Brooke. She grilled Katie about her next designer and what lies ahead Logan.

And that’s when Brooke basically said that Katie is doomed since the Eric thing was a one-off. Then Katie said she wasn’t going to fail and said, quote, “I have hope.” And she meant it literally, as in, “Hey Brooke, I have your daughter Hope. That’s why I won’t fail.”

And it was the second time it happened like that. So the first time was in a chat between Steffy and Hope at Brooke’s. That was when Steffy talked trash Logan and then Hope asked Steffy if she really thought that Katie was doomed and that her fashion house wouldn’t last. So Steffy said she didn’t see any hope for Logan at all.

Bold and the Beautiful: Legal Consequences and Breach of Contract

So with the red flags I feel like it Bold and the beautiful writers very much portend a rough road for Katie as she tries to rush out of the Hope Collection and get it launched before Brooke, Ridge and Steffy find out. But here’s the thing. Although Katie and Bill get the launch released and they blindside them, though Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) finds the right big blue diamond and it’s around Hope’s neck as she and Deke walk the runway at Logan. And even if they get applause and accolades from the fashion press, it can still blow up in their faces.

I think Steffy will be the one to get suspicious and follow up. But regardless of when she and Ridge finds out Hope went behind their backs and sauntered around with Katie and Logan bunch and Spencer bunch, HE double hockey sticks will pay. And Steffy might want to seek a legal remedy. Because they keep flogging the words absence over and over. I think it’s about more than just Hope lying to her mother Brooke. It may be about how Logan will go down in flames.

Bold and the Beautiful: Hope Looks Doomed

Even if Hope’s collection goes ahead and makes its official debut, even if it’s a hit with the press, even if it sells a ton, none of it can matter. And here’s why. Steffy and Ridge are still Hope’s employers, she is still a civil servant Forrester Creations employee. And as she mentioned, she is under contract. And under California law, that could give Steffy and Ridge quite a bit of room to do something legal destroy Katie’s fashion house and it can actually destroy it.

In California, a creative contract that Hope would have would contain clauses. One would be exclusivity, meaning she can’t work for another company while still being one Forrester Creations employee. There may also be a no moonlighting clause. It is common.

This means that Hope must be loyal only to Forrester Creations while employed. So she can’t go to work for anyone else for some reason. and sneaking around with Deacon to make a new collection for Katie would put Hope in breach of contract. So it is very possible that Steffy could push Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and ask him to file an injunction to stop Hope’s collection at Logan and it could wreak havoc on Katie and Bill.

Bold and the Beautiful: Things look so bad for Logan

So even if the collection launches and sales come in for Hope’s line, an injunction would bring it everything to a screeching halt. They would not be able to fulfill the orders. Bill may have to refund all sales. Steffy and Ridge could also sue for damages in addition to getting an injunction blocking the launch.

And if the launch still happens before legal action is taken, the court can just say fine, Katie can’t fulfill the sell orders. So Carter may be able to sue for Forrester Creations ownership of these designs. Also, if Deke had sketched any of them while he was still at Forrester Creationsalthough they were rejected for Hope for the future collection. Because they would have finished Forrester Creations time and with their sketchpads and all that.

So Steffy can actually take down Logan because Hope lied and took a leave of absence instead of just quitting. But if it goes that way, I’m going to go ahead and call it sloppy. Because Bill is a businessman who knows contracts, and he would have insisted that Hope quit. Because she signed a contract with them at Logan is not enough while she is still active under her Forrester Creations contract. So we’ll see how it goes.
