The actress explained that her struggles with self-image started at a young age, although she’s not entirely sure where those feelings came from. “It was an obsession when I was little, but I should look like that,” Megan said. “And why I was aware of my body at such a young age, I’m not sure, and it certainly wasn’t environmentally friendly, because I grew up in a very religious environment where bodies weren’t even acknowledged.”
Despite her ongoing challenges, Megan said learning to love herself remains a work in progress. “The journey of loving myself will never end, I think,” she added.
