Megyn Kelly asks Larry David to stop ‘Talking Politics’ after Donald Trump criticism

The event, which was held on the White House South Lawn, has received a lot of attention, including for how the president acted during the event. Kelly’s comments come after David called the match a “travesty” and said it made him “embarrassed to be an American.”

Kelly accused David of elitism and turning his nose up at a working class sport. She expressed deep annoyance at David’s comments, but admitted she still enjoyed his work on Curb Your Enthusiasm.

“Speaking of DEI and wakefulness, Larry David, whose show I enjoy, I think Curb Your Enthusiasm is so smart and very funny, but I just wish he would stop with the political over-the-top stuff. Here he is commenting on America 250th and the UFC celebration Trump had in the White House,” she previously said in a comment to David’s. OK Magazine).

“There’s no question. Larry lives in Beverly Hills or Bel Air and lives it big and looked at these guys and had absolutely nothing he could relate to in this more of a working-class American sport, turned his nose up at it and walked away and said I’m embarrassed to be associated with them,” she added.

David doesn’t live in Beverly Hills or Bel Air.

The June 14 UFC Freedom 250 event saw plenty of controversy, especially after fighter Josh Hokit made a nasty remark about former first lady Michelle Obama.
