Police are searching for a personal trainer who mysteriously disappeared in South Carolina last week.

Police reportedly used drones to search forests near Lowe on Friday but to no avail. There was still no sign of Elena when officials returned to the area on Monday to canvass the area. However, the police made it clear in an update about the case after the operation:
“This was not a recovery operation, but a precise attempt to remove the possibility of Ms. Moore being in a lesser location.”
Lexington Police Department Investigator missy silcox told Vis 10 Police believe Elena’s phone was with her at the time of her disappearance, but it was no longer pinging as of Monday. He further stated that law enforcement does not suspect foul play and do not believe that Elena is in imminent danger at this time. But Silcox told abc news He added, “This is completely contrary to his character.”
“We’re just hoping for tips to come in. Even the smallest tip could be the biggest thing for us to solve this case.”
